Who We Are

Aerogen Systems was born out of a two-year NASA-inspired research project focused on improving air quality in spacecraft cabins. Our team of University of Michigan engineers designed a photocatalytic oxidation reactor capable of breaking down toxic compounds like toluene, plasticizers and siloxanes - compounds that conventional filters can’t eliminate fully.

With six figures of R&D investment and validation from world-leading photochemistry researchers, we proved that molecular contaminants can be continuously destroyed at the point of use. No disposable filters, no harmful chemical byproducts, and no passive adsorption that eventually saturates and fails.

That foundation is now being applied where it matters most: inside the localized cleanroom manufacturing environments where molecular contamination threatens product integrity, process stability, and yield.
